For me, photography is a tool to learn about people, life and issues surrounding life. I believe photo and video can lead the audience to understand and care about people around us.

I was born and raised in South Korea, and moved to the U.S. in my early twenties to live a life doing what I'm passionate about – telling stories with photo and video, especially about immigrants, women and health care.

I'm currently based in Connecticut, working as a visual journalist at the CT Mirror. I'm also available for freelance work.

When I'm not working, you can find me enjoying the present moment, rock climbing, reading or playing guitar.

I’m open to chat and collaborate. You can reach me at (573) 639-1079 and
